Privacy Policy

How Premedic Canada collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Premedic Canada (“Premedic”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through premedic.ca, why, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Information we collect

  • Contact and billing details you give us when you book or buy: name, email, phone number and billing address.
  • Booking details: the service and date you book.
  • Payment information is entered on our payment processor’s secure form. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Exam account and results: your exam User ID, the answers you submit, your scores, pass/fail results and certificates.
  • Device information: to enforce the 2-device limit on exam logins, we store a random device identifier in a cookie on each device you use.
  • Messages you send us by email, phone, WhatsApp or the contact form.
  • Website usage data: such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools (see section 4).

2. How we use it

  • To process your order, confirm and manage your booking, and send receipts.
  • To create your exam login, run the exam, show your results and issue your certificate.
  • To contact you about your booking, exam access or a change to your session.
  • To prevent fraud and misuse, including shared exam logins.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it, and to measure our advertising.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We only send marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run Premedic, and only as needed:

  • Payment processing (for example Stripe) to take payments.
  • Website hosting (Hostinger) and our website software (WordPress and WooCommerce).
  • Email delivery (for example Brevo) to send booking, exam and certificate emails.
  • Analytics and advertising (Google and Meta), if enabled, to measure website traffic and ad performance.
  • Authorities, where required by law.

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, for example in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

4. Cookies

We use cookies that are needed for the site to work (your cart, checkout, exam login and the device identifier). With your consent where required, we may also use analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel) to understand visits and measure ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as checkout and the exam, may not work without them.

5. Your certificate link

If you pass an exam, your certificate is available at a private link containing your name, course, date and score. Anyone with the link can view it, so share it only with people you choose. The page is set so that search engines do not list it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order and booking records as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 7 years). Exam accounts, results and certificates are kept so you can access your certificate later. You can ask us to delete your exam account at any time, but your certificate link will then stop working.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent (which may mean we can no longer provide a service). Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Age

Our services are intended for adults. Class F training requires a full Class G licence. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
